Blurb: Christopher Buckley

We’re continuing with showcasing the amazing authors who have stepped in to blurb Kate Gray’s Carry the Sky, forthcoming September 1 from Forest Avenue Press.

Popular author and political satirist Christopher Buckley, whose new book of essays, But Enough About You, came out earlier this year to wide acclaim, said this:

“A splendid debut novel, beautifully written and brimming over with humanity and grace, alternately humorous and heart-wrenching.”
– Christopher Buckley, author of But Enough About You

We’re gearing up for the Sept. 1 launch of Kate’s debut novel, which features a lengthy, ultra-personal interview between  radio journalist Jeb Sharp, of PRI’s “The World,” and Kate, as well as reader’s guide questions. If your book club might be interested in reading Carry the Sky and hosting Kate as a visitor–either in person or by phone–contact us.

  1. Wow, that’s impressive. This may sound facetious, but he’s an important writer I’ve actually heard of, and what a great blurb.

(I’m almost completely ignorant about current fiction. People are forever referring to “famous” authors who I’ve never heard of, which is probably related to the fact that my current reading list is all books written between 1860 and 1910. -) )
